Hello Team,
The show is fun and amazing to watch. My husband has been watching it for a long time. I'll be cooking os something, and he'll call me to see the awesome work you've done. Beautiful! Hubby thinks Foose is great!
My husband, Rich is a part time bus driver. Being part time does not get all the "perks" full time does.
My dad {the best} gave me his 1986 Mercury Grand Marquis when he could no longer drive do to illness. I think this car was the most extravagant thing he ever bought in his life time, and he was very proud, as he should have been.He worked 45 years for 1 company, factory work. He went to work everdyay, no matter what.
The car has not had the best upkeep, do to finances and such. We had a nice maxima with 2 payments to go when it was stolen the night before Thanksgiving a few years ago, total loss. Had to get a new car and lots of new payments, so poor Rich got stuck.
The Marquis has a lot of problems, ex. won't start when it's raining, some rust, broken ignition. {Oh Boy!} It was such a pretty car when it was new. It still gives a beautiful ride. Most importantly to me, although material things don't matter, It's my strongest memory of Dad. I don't want to see it gone.
Dad passed on 9/11/02, the one year anniversay of the twin towers. it was strange because Dad was so very patriotic. He loved his country and served in the army as a young man.
He was the best Dad any child could want. My husband is also a great guy who'll take the short end of the straw for his family and friends. He works hard and does his best. I have been blessed.
If this car could be overhauled, it would be another blessing! Many thanks!

hello my name is josh I would like to know how to submit my fathers truck. He is 54 and had bladder cancer in 2001 and in surgery they had to remove 7 organs, but with this he still went back to work where he had been at for over 30 years. Just about a year ago He got laid off permanently after 34 years of service. Last year his pancreas quit and he is a full diabetic type 2. We just found out that his gallbladder is acting up. With all this he is being denied by social security, and with no job it will be almost impossible to fix up his 92 s-blazer. I know it would mean a great deal to him.
To top it off if you did his truck my mother his wife is a 911 dispatcher and would be able to get local officers involved.
Thanks for your time and I love the show.

hey overhaulin,
I'm writing to you about my brothers 95 Ford Thunderbird. This car was handed down form my father who passed away about 5 years ago from cancer an it gets harder to let it go. He never let's anybody else drive it, he cares too much about it and what it means to him. My father and him were real close and did everything together. This car means the world to him but it has alot of work to do on it. The mileage is well over 100,000 and the body is rusting out real bad. The gauges get stuck all the time but he rides it no matter what. He loves this car and I would love to make my brother happy and keep my fathers car running. This is for my brother and father. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

HEY OVERHAULIN,
My name is Nancy and I have a very loving fiance who has a 1978 Z28 camero that he had purchased 5 to 6 years ago. When he purchased this car he has goals to get it running. Everything is original on the vehicle. He has always had that dream to fix this car and be able to take our two beautiful girls to the car show, but due to the economy this has been very hard. I would really appreciate it, if you help him out for he is an amazing person. My fiance has been the only support of income due to me finishing school. There has been may times where I wanted to give up on school so that I can help suport our family and he kept me going! No matter how badly things got. I just finished school in January to become a medical assistant, which its still been a struggle to find a job, but we are still making things work penny by penny. I know that Michael would be so greatful as would I if the team could help him see this get running. when he talks about the camero there is a glow in his eyes and even though people have made offers to buy this vehicle from him, he cant let it go. I dont quiet understand and man and his car... ha ha.. But for everything this one man has done for this family of four, he truely deserves so much. Thanks again for your time. We look forward to seeing you guys on the next OVERHAULIN!

Hey Chip Foose.... I would have to start by saying you are THE MAN when it comes to making people's dream come true. The work you do on these car's can be unimagineable, and with the time you have... It's any person's Dream. My brother saw a show recently and could not stop watching it.. He actually recorded it. The guy's name was Mike like my bro and he had a 65 Thunderbird and my bro has a 95 Thunderbird and it was passed down from his father who had passed away. My father passed away 5 year's ago and it was really hard on my family especially on my bro. Him and my father were always working on car's. Its what brought them together and its hard for my bro to restore the car the way he would want to cause he recently lost his job and the talent my father had he could not compare too. My bro is a Real Big Fan of you Chip Foose and sir your work is my bro Dream. It would not only be his dream but I know it would also be my Father's
Thank you sir for taking the time to read this....

I owned a 67 Mustang until my girlfriend decided to give it to her son for a graduation present. I really don't mind he's a good young man and is going into the service after graduation if he can't get a scholarship to VMI. We are strugling to get the money together to complete the car. He wants very much to serve his country and we would love to see his dream of driving a classic Mustang come true. If he is selected and you don't do the eastcoast I will try to take off and haul it out to California myself.

my dad was working on his dream car, a 1964 Ford Falcon when he passed away. my sisters and I are wondering if you would do the honors of finishing it in his memory. the car is located in wisconsin at the present time, the motor has been redone and installed, but that is as far as he got before his misfortune. it would be something that would stay in and be passed around the family for all to enjoy. I love watching your show, you are truly an artist. you and your cast are truly amazing. hoping i'm one of the lucky ones to be chosen, thank you. trucker82

Hi Overhaulin team,
okay, my husband Matt drives everyday in his 1974 International Scout II that's a junker with an okay paint job to make it look nice. This vehicle is his daily commuter, and I'd really love it if you guys would overhaul the piece of junk.
I'm requesting this because i know it's my fault he's driving this instead of his 06 Avalanche we built the way he wanted it, for towing and looks; it was a great truck. Unfortunately someone in my family was in trouble and needed help so we sold my husbands truck for the money to help them out. He's always done what ever needs to be done for my family. He works had, has taken side jobs and even considered a second job just to help my family. We knew he'd need a vehicle so we got the scout for a next to nothing. I'd love you guys to overhaul it to show him how much it means to me and my family what he's done for them. Even my mom feels bad and knows she'll never beable to thank him enough.
We have two kids and the Scout only seats two (driver and a passenger). And I can't even drive it if i have to run errands and he has the kids. The clutch goes all the way to floor but doesn't engage till about an inch at the top, the gear shift is held together with a nut and pen (yeah fountain pen). it doesn't always start and when you reverse it feels like it's going to split down the middle. But the really bad part is when your driving, it's super stiff, rough riding, it's an awful ride, non of the electrical inside the cab works, so he has no AC or heater for those days needing climate control. There are honestly two many things to mention. I have to admit though it looks semi nice considering we had it painted for a couple hundred so it wouldn't look as bad as it really is.
I hope you consider my husband and his beast for an overhaul, I can't begin to tell you all the reasons he deserves it.
Sincerely,
Jessica Hatch

HI Chip and Chris,
I'm a 52 year old male with stage 3 colon cancer and would like to have my cousin considered for the show, she drives me to all my chemo appts. and is always there for me, she has and old panel truck, that her husband was going to restore but passed away with a heart attack some years back and I know it would mean the world to her to have it done. She has always been there for me and deserves to have something nice done for her before I go too. I hope you will consider her in your application process.
Thank you

I don't know how far you all will go to overhaul a vehicle but I am going to try anyway. My fiance works for an hand surgeon and spends a lot of time helping out adults as well as children that have sustained serious injuries and dosen't have much time to do her own thing fixing up older classic vehicles. We also raise registered longhorn cattle and spend a lot of time raising the calves only to give them to a less fortunate children so they can show them and get scholarship money for college. I purchased a 68 pontiac le mans convertable factory 4 speed car with the intentions of us fixing it up together but just don't have the time to invest in getting this vehicle finished. I drove to Illinois to pick up this vehicle but live in San Antonio Tx. Any help would be appriciated.
P.S. she is into drag racing and dose pretty well.
Thank you

Hi my name is Karen. I live outside of Austin Texas. My husband has a 1965 Chevy pick up. He drives this truck daily. Needless to say, the truck needs MAJOR help. I recently found out that I have lupus. Freddy had a 1966 Ford mustang fastback that he sold to help pay some bills while I was out sick. He also had a 2006 ford mustang GT convertible that was stolen from work in July of 2009. We haven't really had the money to replace the one that was stolen. It was paid off by the insurance company though so that was a saving grace. Freddy has given so much to me, his son and his friends. I would love if you all would consider helping with his truck. I doubt if he will ever be able to afford to fix it up himself. Getting his truck would definitely be a challenge for you too, he is an avid Overhaulin' fan.
Thank you for your time.
